About The Surgeon

Dr. Prashant Kerkar is a renowned Surgical Oncologist and Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) and Gastrointestinal Oncosurgeon. He specializes in performing surgeries using minimally invasive techniques. With over 18 years of clinical practice, he has successfully carried out complex HPB and GI surgeries with minimal morbidity. Dr. Kerkar also actively contributes to the DNB Surgical Program by training and guiding postgraduate students. He has served as a national and international course director for numerous programs. Additionally, he oversees philanthropic activities through two organizations: the Dr. Shantabai Kerkar Charitable Trust and the Dr. Balwant Kerkar Pratishthan.
